Yes. On displays without a notch, MeetIsland shows a small virtual island pill at the top center of the screen — same behavior, same Join button.

MeetIsland reads any calendar that macOS syncs (Google, iCloud, Exchange, and more) and detects Google Meet and Zoom links automatically. Teams link detection is on the roadmap.

No. MeetIsland reads events locally via Apple's EventKit and everything stays on your Mac. Optional anonymous usage statistics (event counts only, opt-in) help us improve the app — see the privacy policy.

How is this different from MeetingBar?MeetingBar と何が違いますか?
MeetingBar lists meetings in the menu bar — great for glancing. MeetIsland is built so you don't have to glance: the notification appears in the center of your vision at exactly the right moment, with a live countdown.

The meeting list in the menu bar keeps working, but island notifications pause until you enter a license key. Your settings are kept.
